Learn to Trail Ride in Griffith Park
One on One Instruction
There's nothing quite like seeing the world from the back of a horse. Griffith Park is one of the largest urban parks in North America. With over 4,107 acres of natural terrain covered with California oak trees, wild sage and Manzanita. Residents of the park include coyotes; bob tail cats, hawks, and deer, with an array of California birds.
I have dedicated myself to the training of trail horses and am excited to now be able to let the public enjoy the feeling of learning to trail ride on one of my horses. These are not rental horses and I have selected each for their temperament, conformation and willingness to want to please.
I am located at a quaint stable in Burbank, adjacent to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, and Griffith Park trails.
This lesson and riding experience has all the right qualities: love for horses, a friendly certified riding instructor, and scenic trails. Being that all my lessons are one on one, I am able to create the right ride for each guest.
Another thing that makes my lessons unique is that if you are an experienced rider and just want to ride an awesome horse, come on out and you will have a great ride with no hassles.
Riders will experience the pleasure of riding privately owned and trained horses. These horses are highly responsive, well mannered, and fun to ride! All lessons are conducted with the safety of you and you horse in mind.
Riders must be 18 years old. Maximum weight is 225 lbs. Lessons are tailored to your riding abilities. Lessons may include walking, trotting, and a controlled lope, depending on your comfort level. It is recommended that riders wear long pants and boots with a heel. Helmets are provided upon your request.
